John & Patrick MAGUIRE
Mary Maguire, of Montreal, lost her only two sons, Patrick Ernest Maguire, RCAF, and John B. Maguire, RCAC, during WWII. Patrick died at age 22 on 7 OCT 42 and is buried at Montreal Cemetery, Quebec. John Maguire, 21st Armd. Regt, Governor General's Foot Guards, died on 14 APR 45 and is buried with honour at the Holten Canadian War Cemetery, Netherlands.
When John and Patrick were younger, they would accompany their mother as she visited her sister in Rhode Island. She continued her visits even after losing her only sons.
John & Patrick's cousin is researching their military service and any information would be most appreciated.
