This soldier's nieces and nephews are trying to get further information about their uncle's days spent in the military and exactly what had happened to him.
Rifleman Kenneth John La Rose, Service Number B/79266, was with the Canadian Army, Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, R.C.I.C. He initially joined the Irish Regiment of Canada, in Toronto, and was later posted to the QOR.
He died at the age of 22 on March 3, 1945 in the Balberger Wald, during the Battle of the Reichswald Forest in Germany. He is buried at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, The Netherlands.
